CMD LEADS INSPECTION TOUR OF UNTH CLINICS UNVEILS PLANS FOR REVITALISATION
The Management of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Ituku Ozalla, has embarked on an inspection tour of the newly modernized hospital at the old site known as UNTH CLINICS, with a view to revitalizing them to improve patient care.
Led by the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Obinna Onodugo, the inspection took place on November 10, 2025, and was attended by management staff and heads of various departments.

The project, which is one of the innovative strides of Prof. Onodugo’s administration, is aimed at expanding and beautifying the old site facility, making it more accessible to patients who face challenges accessing the main hospital at Ituku/Ozalla due to distance.
He thanked Prof. Oguonu, Chairman of the revitalization committee, for his dedication and efforts and encouraged him to continue his good work.

The inspection tour revealed significant progress, with suggestions made by heads of departments on areas requiring improvement.
The CMD encouraged all to continue providing feedback and suggestions to ensure the project’s success.
