We provide quality services in clinical chemistry/ Chemical pathology using blood, urine, Ascites cerebrospinal fluid etc.
The department has the following units via:
- Enzymology
- Renal chemistry
- Metabolic
- Immunology/ Immunochemistry
- Micronutrients
- Chromatograhpy/ Toxicology
The department also has highly qualified, dedicated and competent medical laboratory scientists to handle your test using our modern equipment supplied by VAMED and the management of the Hospital.
Training of medical laboratory interns and medical laboratory students from UNEC/ UNTH and other institutions is also carried out in the department.
Finally, the department intends to expand the scope of biochemistry analysis currently being handled.
