The Department of Family Medicine, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), yesterday, 21st April, received the reaccreditation guests from the West African College of Physicians (WACP).

During a courtesy call to the CMD, the accreditation team, led by Dr. Akin Moses, commended the department’s efforts in maintaining the required standards, citing the collaborative efforts of the management and the department.

The Chief Medical Director of UNTH, Prof. Obinna Onodugo, praised the department’s hard work, particularly the Head of Department, Dr. Chioma Umeh, for a successful reaccreditation exercise.

Present at the courtesy call were the Director of Administration, Mrs. Uche Obi; the DCMAC, Theatre and in-patient, Dr. Duke Onyeabochukwu; the HOD, Family Medicine, Dr. Chioma Umeh; and other Staff of her department.
