BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Dr Emmanuel Amobi gained Direct Entry Admission to study Dentistry at the University of Benin in October 1980. He served as the National President of the Nigeria Association of Dental Students (NADS) during the 1983/84 Academic Session. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree (BDS) in 1985 and was the best graduating student from the Faculty of Dentistry,     University of Benin. He was also awarded Dean’s Prize.

He has a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. He is a lecturer in the Department of Child Dental Health at the College of Medicine, University of Nigeria. He serves as Faculty Representative to the University of Nigeria Senate, Senate Curriculum Committee and the Senate Examinations Committee. He is also the Associate Dean (Clinical) and Examinations Officer of the Faculty of Dentistry. Dr Amobi is a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International.

He is married to Mrs Blessing Amobi and the union is blessed with children.
