According to a press release made available to UNTHNEWSONLINE, the team said that this laudable gesture will go a long way to enhance the care of patients with CRDs and position UNTH as the best Training Centre for Spirometry that will be accessible to other institutions in South Eastern, and other regions of Nigeria.

The team also appreciated the Management of the hospital, who had before now invested in personnel development along these lines by supporting subspecialty training of both Paediatric and Adult Pulmonologist and Respiratory Nurse and Physiotherapist outside the country.

The press release noted that this is in line with global best practices in maintaining the highest standard of care for individuals suffering from these diseases and building competencies and skills among Pulmonologists in Nigeria.
