Speaking during the occasion on Wednesday, 1st February 2024, the Chief Medical Director, Prof Obinna Onodugo recounted his experience, he said, “when I came on board as the CMD of UNTH, I discovered that the old gate did not portray the image of the hospital, especially as the first port of call, considering the fact that first impression matters. I then took it up as a challenge” Going further, he said “today makes it two years of construction and now, it is being commissioned to the glory of God”
He expressed optimism that the project will usher in a new attitude of commitment by the Staff to cater for the patients.
