“Continuous learning is the minimum requirement for success in any field”
For this reason, the UNTH Management and her School of Health Information Management, organised a Matriculation / Induction Ceremony, yesterday, 4th May, 2024 , for her New Intakes.

In his remark as the Chief Host, the Chief Medical Director of the university of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla , Prof. Obinna Onodugo , expressed delight at the successes and achievements recorded by the School so far and appreciated the school authority under the Acting Principal, Miss Nneka Nwankwo.

The CMD who spoke through the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), Prof.Joy Eze, reiterates Management’s commitment to making the institution a citadel of learning to all academic endeavours. He therefore, enjoined the matriculants to take their academics very seriously, and avoid any act capable of impeding on their future ambitions.

While delivering his address, the Chairman of the occasion, and Pioneer Course Co-ordinator of the School, Chief Felix Amadi thanked the management of UNTH and the School for their immense supports and encouragement to the course of the institution.

In her earlier address, the Head of the School, Miss Okonkwo appreciated the management of the Hospital for their supports and encouragement, which have aided the institution to navigate certain challenges and encumbrances, thanking the Lecturers and Staff for their cooperation, which helped to make the event a reality.

On his own part, the representative of the Registrar, Health Records Registration Board of Nigeria and the South-East Zonal Coordinator, Mr E. Ukariwe thanked the CMD for his pragmatism and disclosed that the Board is working hard to secure approval for award of Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Health Information Management.
